Overcome laziness

LAZINESS,OVERCOME,PROCRASTINATION,LIFESTYLE,CHANGES,

Your exams are in 2 days and you are studying continuously for hours, regretting and cursing yourself for not starting your studies earlier, for not studying regularly whole year just because of your habit of laziness.
We all at some point are lazy, it's a normal human tendency. We are not born like this, although we are born to work but we choose to be lazy and this laziness overtakes our brain and working abilities. Irony is that we all want to ditch this habit. But how ??
So my post is only for those who wants to ditch being lazy. Not for those who enjoy being lazy and not willing to do anything for themselves . Here are a few ways that helps me, you can also adapt them and following them see the changes-

1- THE 5 MINUTES MANTRA -
I was very lazy at waking up early and then going to a morning walk but this is something i have been wanting for years but due to my laziness i always failed and going for morning walk was like a mount Everest for me.
My mother helped me in this and from there i discovered this 5 minutes mantra, daily she used to wake me up early and say let's go for a walk for at least 5 minutes then you can come back and sleep.
To avoid the disturbance in my sleep i started waking up just to walk with her for 5 minutes so that she stops screaming and i can sleep in peace, but my mom played trick again, as soon as i start walking with her she used to talk to me about anything and when 5 minutes became 30 minutes i didn't realized, in this way she helped me making a habit of waking up early and also of morning walk.
So the trick here is that once you start doing something for 5 minutes you can continue doing that task, only you need to take a first step. For example if you are laying on couch for whole day and regretting for not doing a single work then just tell yourself that you are going to do any work for 5 minutes, once you are up you will see in no time your 5 minutes will work wonder.

2- TRAIN YOUR BRAIN-
As i said earlier that no one is born lazy it's our mind that doesn't let us work, our body is functioned to work and rest in proper amount but our mind is too lazy it just wants to relax all the time. So it is very important to tell our brain that procrastination is not good for our personal growth .
This can be done by creating a fear in our brain, the fear of of not being able to achieve something in life or it could be anything else. Also setting a goal in life will be helpful. So get out of bed and scream yourself if you are wanting time.

3- REALIZING THAT YOU ARE LAZY -
Only someone who is aware of his habit and willing to change it can change his or her lifestyle, not the one who doesn't even know that he or she is lazy. Avoiding tasks or leaving them to be done on tomorrow, or being in an inactive state for long, not being up to date at work, always lacking behind are the signs that you are too lazy and it is going to effect your growth in every way. So realize before it's too late and bring the changes.

4-MAKING LIFESTYLE CHANGES -
Now that you have decided to change and you have a you are already trained your brain, the next step to overcome your laziness is by making some lifestyle changes this includes making a proper routine for exercise eating a well balanced diet instead of consuming junk, drinking lots of water etc. When you will feel healthy inside it will automatically help you overcome your laziness.

5- DISCIPLINE -
Remember laziness is a choice not a  need, and you are choosing not to work. This is why having self discipline is very important, if you are not doing anything on time then punish yourself by any mean, suppose if you planned to write an article but didn't complete it because you were enjoying watching tv series laying on couch then punish yourself by working late at night till you finish that task, or by cancelling another plans that you made for that day . This is the easiest way to create discipline for yourself.

Follow these 5 tips if you are always stressed or lacking behind because of your laziness, and i am sure you will soon overcome this habit if yours. Remember its easy to procrastinate because of laziness, but overcoming this habit is also not tough, you can do it and change your life and performance only if you try.
